Relate directly with spirits of Place and Space. Empower Yourself to Tend the Spirit of Your Home.

One-on-one virtual support for home stewardship, connecting with the soul of place, and being an ally to the land you live on.

In our time together, I will deeply listen and offer customized support in the form of tools, practices and guidance toward this end:

that you be the definitive priest(exx) of the energy of your home and the land you live on.

In this session, I am not mediator between you and your home, house energy, genius loci, land spirits, elemental powers… Instead, I provide tools and practices so that you may be guided to be that on your own behalf.

One hour consultation: $77; 1.5 hour $111. I am also open to trade & barter in exchange for this work. I mean it when I say: no one turned away for lack of funds.

My experience tending hearth & Land is extensive.
I remember being eight years old and feeling energies shift in rooms I entered. It was quite clear to me where I was welcome, and where I wasn’t, regardless of any human invitations and consent I received to be “allowed” somewhere.

As an adult, I developed tools and learned techniques from elders in the magical community on how to manage energy in spaces. I began to listen to land; Land became my teacher too.

We’ll begin at the beginning: where you’re at, any symptoms you notice in your home, any desires to speak with the more-than-human or any intuitive hits you’re receiving (or how to be open to receive this!)

We’ll touch base with your home in its geographical context, ancestors of the land you live on, and practical next steps toward living in right relationship with land ancestors, spirits, and your role in tending to the wellness of land, place and space.

We’ll explore and be able to name:

  • The energetic anchor of your home. The heart of the building you live in, whether you rent or own, be it house, boat, condo, or apartment.

  • The energetic anchor of the land you live on, plus any natural land portals

  • Any human-made energetic portals. Train tracks, cross roads, and power lines are some common ones. But sometimes they are less obvious!

  • Any metaphysical energy leaks or drains or blockages in your home (these sometimes show up as physical manifestations.)

Things we might discuss and encounter:

  • remedies for symptoms of unrest in the home

  • spiritual hygiene for place and space (using sound, scent, smoke, willpower and sovereignty)

  • noticing and living within seasonal cycles

  • inviting “nature” into your home

  • genius loci; the soul of place and landscape

  • elemental communication work

  • plant allies you live with and near that want to collaborate

  • safe and respectful communication with the other-than human world

  • ritual offerings, best practices, & respectful protocol

  • protection for the home against uninvited energy and entities, and ward work against invasive or wandering spirits or energies.

We’ll also make time for even more unforeseen topics, ideas, practices surrounding your specific needs in relationship to your home and the land you live on.

Who all lives here? A land portal defined by arching tree trunk, bending over a walking path. This portal lives on traditional Ye Iswa Catawba Indian land.

Who all lives here? A land portal made from an arching tree branch on Ye Iswa Catawba Indian land.

The framework we’ll work within is liberation-oriented. We move with curiosity, and with respect, in acknowledgment of the systems of oppression that create unrest in the earth’s body, in our bodies, and in our homes. As we acknowledge the realities of extractive capitalism, white supremacy & patriarchy, we make space for you to deeply listen to your home and the land you live on, and mark the sheer pleasure it is to be in such relationship.

We will acknowledge soil as memory, and take care to honor the soil your home is built on.

In that vein, it’s my intention and my prayer that this work will change you, change me, change your home and change our world.

One step at a time we live intact, in homes built on compassion, soul reverence of nature, and deep memory.

Contact me: bri@mugwortmedia.com. I’ll get back to you within two-three days to schedule a free 20 minute consultation to see if the time is right for us to work together.

All blessings be, and I’m so grateful we’re in this work together!
